About Kalasar

At Kalasar, we’re building an AI-powered virtual Customer Success Manager to help B2B SaaS companies onboard users at scale.

The Problem

Scaling customer success through human CSMs is expensive and doesn’t scale. Existing tools—product tours, support bots—don’t solve the problem.

The Solution

We’re building an AI agent that actively engages users, guides them through workflows, and solves onboarding at scale. It’s powered by LLMs, video/image processing, HTML parsing, embedding models, and analytics.

We are a venture-backed, pre-seed startup with 4 co-founders and 2 freelancers. This is our first full-time engineering hire.

The Role

You’ll own backend development and LLM integrations, making key architectural decisions and building core features.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the backend (Python & FastAPI)
• Integrate LLMs and other AI models into our agent workflows
• Manage PostgreSQL databases (SQLAlchemy experience is a plus)
• Design and build APIs for our AI-driven customer success agent
• (Optional) Contribute to frontend work (React/Svelte)

What We're Looking For
